Effect of FOCUS-PDCA procedure on improving self-care ability of patients undergoing colostomy for rectal câncer

ABSTRACT Objective: To investigate the effect of FOCUS-PDCA procedure on self-care ability patients undergoing colostomy for rectal cancer. Method: A nonrandomized controlled trial 160 with cancer colostomy. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and observation procedure. two groups was investigated 1 week month after surgery, a comparative analysis made between groups. Results: One increased from 39.09 points before implementation to 60.15 implementation; an increase 21.06%. 61.50 83.13 procedure; 21.63%. Conclusion: Application improved colostomy, their physical mental health, reduced complications, quality life. results suggest that it is worth applying more widely.
